When smoke is detected, the alarm sounds in the home to immediately alert the individual, while also sending a signal to the Safety Link monitoring centre for follow-up and assistance.
Up to 12 smoke detectors can be interconnected, so if smoke is detected in one area, all alarms will activate at the same time — providing clear, consistent warning throughout the home.
If a false alarm occurs, the user can press the CANCEL button on the unit to stop the signal before it reaches Safety Link.
